James Caruthers Rhea Ewing

James Caruthers Rhea Ewing, KCIE (1854-1925) was a prominent American Presbyterian missionary, academic, theologian, and author.[1]

He graduated from Washington & Jefferson College in 1876.[2]

He served as principal of Forman Christian College in Lahore, Punjab in what is now Pakistan. For his service, he was created a Knight Commander of the Order of the Indian Empire in 1923. He was the brother of Arthur Henry Ewing, who was also a Presbyterian missionary in India.
